Just as the body presents bruises from injury, so does the body manifest emotional abuse.  How many times has someone experienced the sudden onset of a cold or the flu during a stressful event?  It follows that constant emotional abuse or neglect will manifest itself in some manner.  That researches are seeing gastric issues is compelling.  What a great article.
