Let's kick this up a notch.

Some of the newest Science is showing that the brain is nothing more than a transmitter/receiver (a circuit that dials in aspects of total consciousness (what you may call god).

Reality as we experience it is a construct of the interaction of code. Think matrix. In this sense it is a soul illusion but a damn convincing one. But then if we take it even further even the soul is illusionary in the sense that it too runs on code. Code can be seen as interference patterns that shape flow of pure potential energy.

"In the beginning was the word. The word was with god. The word was god.

Our brains can then be seen as processors that access, interpret and transmit code to the larger connected aspect (god).

People grow old and die because the believe they have to (deeply not just surface).

"After more of the food supply was taken from us by the flood, that is now part of 'fossil fuel', the bible says that the fullness of life is only three score and ten."

Be careful what you agree to as your belief. ;-)
It becomes the software of your experience.

It has been shown in a lab that a cell dies only when it isn't nourished and toxins are not removed from it.
However we are a collection of cells and this is just the overall collection of parts that allows us to have a "human" experience. We are more of the sum total of these parts. It is all consciousness. You can see all these parts as a kind of conscious circuit hierarchy.

If you read the biology of belief you will understand that belief runs the ship. Real faith is actually a 100% belief in the certainty of an outcome. This is how miracles come about. Scientists refer to this as placebo. I refer to it as coherent thought based in alignment with infinite potential (god).

Bet you can selectively find scripture to back up what I just shared. ;-)
