I would definitely feel this way if you are young, thin, athletic, and eat a high-carbohydrate diet.
Your blood glucose levels may not demonstrate absolute hypoglycemia by definition, but I would bet you that your blood Sugar is very volatile. The effects of low blood Sugar are generally mitigated by the adrenal hormones...cortisol and adrenaline serve to increase blood sugar. Some of those nasty hormones feel better than others. The adrenaline really makes your head really foggy when it is overproduced. There are also symptoms related to the relative low blood sugar. Your blood Sugar might read as a 70, but if your body is acclimated to 120, it sets off all sorts of havoc. Post the results of your oral glucose tests. You are going to have to radically change your diet and lifestyle, but don't implement massive dietary changes over night.
