I had been using the Pristiq every other day then every two days and then went 3 days and said I am not putting this back into my body.
It has been hell. The effexor withdrawal (I have done twice now over the past 5 years was nothing compared to the Pristiq!) I zoned out for like 3 days, with horrible withdrawal symptoms. Then the anxiety started to creep in. While I was zoning out I was doing alot of research and found some aminos that helped.
Your recommendations were started about day 9 being off of the Pristiq. I noticed immediately. The 5htp was great! I am doing all of your recommendations besides the TMG, glycine and GABA. I have them on order. I am noticing the anxiety starts to creep up in the lated afternoon and into the night. Its intensity is building, but not to the level of panic attacks. (The reason I have not been successful in getting off the meds in the past was because of the anxiety and panic.) Im having trouble falling to sleep. I have the glycine and GABA on order. I wanted to get the GABA in powder form. I also have magnesium chloride on order.
I also have a few other supplements that I am taking, along with an all round nutritional supplement and a cleansing herbal fiber.
Would you mind explaining why the anxiety is happening. What is going on in your brain for this to happen? I was originally put on meds for Depression not anxiety....Now it seems to be an anxiety issue? This may change once I get the anxiety under control.
Also, you had mentioned weaning off of 5htp. Are their any negative long term effects in using this? I am hoping to wean off all that I can and hope that my body does what it need.
Which aminos are so to speak adaptogenic? Meaning help to restore your body, does not put a band aid on it and has a long term negative effect and is habit forming?
What do you recommend for getting your brain balanced out and back to normal functioning without whatever it was lacking to cause the Depression and anxiety in the first place?
