dear everyone,

a few weeks ago i was in an accident and, i thought the swelling of my knee would go down, but it has remained twice the normal size with the knee cap bulging out and i can't bear for anything to touch it... does this sound like what is known as "water on the knee"? and if that's it, (i've tried searching the net for remedies but no luck) do you think there's anything that can help get it back to normal without surgery?
