Hello,

For the last ten years I've had the following symptoms that are provoked by over-thinking, rationalizing or reasoning, doing a Math problem, analyzing or intellectualizing, or could even be as simple as trying to decide between two choices in a grocery store, and this mental activity changes my breathing pattern making it more erratic:

- severe chest tightness or pressure
- difficulty breathing, short breaths
- mucus production in throat but no coughing
- constant need to clear the throat but no coughing
- lack of energy
- the most debilitating symptom is that I become extremely tired and have to lie down sometimes for hours, and often just feel sleepy and have to go to sleep for a couple of hours, after which I feel fine.

Please note that these symptoms are only provoked by mental activity and not by any allergen. The symptoms subside after a couple of hours.

Is it related to the lungs or thymus? Or any other body part, or is it purely mental, or a combination of mental and physical? Or is it a parasite problem in the lungs or thymus? I am sure most people can go grocery shopping without feeling this way.

Have you had similar problems? Any advice would help.

Thank you.
