THANK you for the great suggestions!  I'll give him a spray of CS, this evening on he poor teefs.  I've been giving him canned food for about 6 months, now, because it does hurt his teefs to bite down on crunchies.  We attribute him for being present when the Big Bang occurred.  Golly he is an old man!
