The things that hormones do to your body are bizarre. The last time I went off Birth Control Pills (pre Mirena) I lost half the hair on my head, which took about a year to grow back. Surprise! When the hair grew back it was CURLY when previously I have had very straight hair. My hair didn't fall out with Mirena, but got even curlier. Removal hasn't changed this. Seeing pictures of my in my early 20's and now I look like a different person. Good luck with your removal!
