I don't think so. One time I took a lot more (7 pills at once) and got a flush with mush stones. After the flush I didn't feel better. I think if the stones move down to the galbladder as mush and are not released during the flush, they will become solid along the walls of the liver/galbladder afterwards. That's my guess on what happened to me. So there are no negative side effects to taking too much, but different amounts of malic acid produce different types of flushes.
