dontstopdreaming ,

"But some people who Water Fast puke right off the first day just by not eating breakfast, hehe".

It is true that many people who water-fast "puke" from the first day, but it is well-known within Fasting literature that the greater the reaction from detox the greater the need for the fast.

"I say that in most cases you have to prepare your body with juice fasting, and REAL food, and in some cases medicinal herbs for specific conditions".

The above depends on the need or otherwise for urgency and the reasons why the fast is recommended. It could be a life-saving undertaking as in my own case.

We should all try to understand that the fast is only a catalyst in achieving the body's objectives of optimal health. The body will do this whether we are eating or fasting, but the fast is extremely efficient in overcoming years of physiological abuse from dietetic errors, and a lifestyle that supports building disease.

If you have the luxury of time on your side, then lifestyle changes in diet and exercise, coupled with fresh air and plentiful rest and sleep, will sometimes perform miracles over time, but it should be born in mind that only the body will heal itself and where fasting greatly accelerates that biological process.

An organic raw diet is ideal (in my opinion), but only for those who are able to digest their food efficiently and have the full digestive powers of the body to hand.
This is not always the case: the fast then becomes essential where digestion/assimilation is impaired, either thru enervation or acute disease, and where it will enable full recovery of these powers, in the pursuit of wellness.
