Hi and welcome to this weird place of Iodine lovers. It is not without reason that the folks here are encouraging to this supplement; as it rid people of different illnesses as hypothyroidism, FBD, Fatigue,coldness, cysts et al.
The internet is full of Iodine pro and cons; here you find the ones that have been there, done that. Yes it is a powerful thing; and a few posters here did not have the best outcome; but it is a ratio 5 negatives - 95 % positives (approx, subjective etc) But lets face it; we are up to illnesses that very few docs can cure, we have chosen to do this ourselves. Some with the docs help, others without.


But many has, as you had a H##l of a detox before the good things happened, me included. You nailed it yourself; the lack of companions.. makes the whole thing worse; the head ache for instance; is lessened by taking a real salt / water load. There is options like backing off, take it easy.. then there is the option to push even harder; this makes it pass faster. Like the quote; "if you are going through hell, keep going"
Your choice of course. Meanwhile; educate yourself, dont believe, but try; do; make your own conclusion.
