Get involved more with clubs or whatever where people are, keep yourself busy, i won't lie too you and say the pain goes away, it doesn't, but as time passes the pain weakens and the more other things occupy you the less attention you give the pain, one day 30 years from now you will probably look back and fondly remember this person, you will see them again, but not yet, so live happily for them, that's what they will want.
