Septic tanks are very unforgiving :( 1T a week = 4.25T a month = 51T a year (3 1/8 cups).

The best solution I know of is to use several wash cloths and rinse them off outside. If the weather isn't permitting, just dry the muddy cloths on the towel rack and throw them in the hamper until you can get outside to rinse them.
