Hi Wombat, I only painted her wound with the Iodine, she has hundreds of lumps all over her, they are just there, not growing or shrinking, so I just leave them alone for now....
Since I gave her a lot of CS in her water I wanted to keep the Iodine apart from that, so Iodine only topically.
Thanks for the links, I really like the vet, have subscribed to his e-mail for a while and I agree with everything he says, wish they would all be like that!
I am on well water and, in addition, run all my water, incl. the dogs drinking water, through a berkey filter to remove all the nasty "Extras" you get even when you are not on city water.
Btw I plan on using your Iodine salve on some of her other spots, she has some small ones on her head, too close to her eyes for liquid Iodine, will let you know how that goes.
