From my own experience (learning from trial and error), as long as I don't feel much discomfort the next day, I would do coffee enema or oral salt enema soon as I feel ready. One common side effect of not clearing it up is the accumulation of toxic mucus, you would see abnormal thick coating on the tongue, bad breath, itchy skin or poor skin condition... i dont know what's more...
