Hey Willow! Thanks to you and everyone who answered! :)
Well, I don't think I am going to do a juice fast as much as I'd want to do it. I don't have a masticating juicer and I am not in the US, so I can't buy those readily. At my place, after a good search, I've finally found a manual masticating juicer that's supposedly best for citrus fruits. So I didn't have any hopes for carrots etc. But if I am ready to spend a huge amount of time, I am indeed able to use it to make carrot juice :) If you are curious, it took me 1 and half hours to get about 8oz of carrot juice (with a little beet root juice in it). In order to juice fast an entire day, I'd probably be juicing all day and it would still not be enough. :)
But thanks for the model information. I am trying to find some of my friends from school, college who'd be in US and who'd be willing to bring a juicer for me (tough luck!). If I indeed succeed, then I'll have your model recommendations to decide the one.
So at the moment I am trying to include as much juice, like maybe around 8oz of pure juice a day.
I find it difficult to digest carrot and beets etc, so those are the ones that I am first going to use for juicing. Others I have planned are spinach and radish. Let's see what the gods have in mind for my juicing expedition :)
"You're gonna feel so good after the first few days, you'll really notice a difference and your body will thank you for it."
I am looking forward to feeling better, slowly at least if not that fast :)
Thanks and all have a wonderful day!
Oter
