Contradiction isn't necessarily evil.

For example, imagine I decide that I like the "natural" solution of taking three daily enemas of ground appleseeds... then Hveragerthi comes along to say, "well, there's cyanide in appleseeds, and enema drugs get absorbed into the bloodstream -- you might be careful"...

Just because I'm attached to appleseed enemas doesn't mean that I should hate Hveragerthi for telling me it might be dangerous. Indeed, for even explaining the mechanism by which it might be dangerous -- _informing_ me!

"Natural" doesn't mean willfully ignorant. I very much want to hear what knowledge Hveragerthi has to share. Please don't try to shut them up.
