hi. i can relate somewhat to what you are going through. i am also in an extremely codependent relationship with and alcoholic who i have been with for over 5 years, i also feel like i NEED to be with him 24/7 and when i am not with him, i dont feel right, i feel scared, depressed and anxious. i can offer a little bit of advice though even though i tend not to take it when it comes to my own life. but i guess one of the things that has helped me from time to time is reading melody beatty, she has a book called codependent no more, she has a few other books as well that you might find helpful.
