I noticed results in a couple of days, the more consistent I am with it the better my lips become.

Burt's bees lip balm is useless by itself. What works is keeping your lips moist underneath the balm and being consistent about doing it. I've had EC as bad as you could imagine for 10+ years and this simple routine is the best thing ive tried.
