there's a whole lotta "i'm scared he's scared" notations in your post. why in the world would you be afraid of anything? getting hurt? come on here, you're a big girl now. "getting hurt" excuses are for high school sophomores fighting Acne and split ends. you're a bright, beautiful (by your username), rising star on the scene...you've got nothing to be afraid or sensitive about. i'll assume you don't have a third eye growing from your forehead. when i put it in that context, what possibly could be your rationale for continueing on as mrs. meek?

"a" girls intimidate most "b", "c" and "d" guys. it's easy to understand. the bigger athlete intimidates the smaller athlete. the smarter kid in class intimidates the dumber kid. the boss intimidates the new hire. human nature 101. most "a" guys are not intimidated with the "a" girl. most "b" guys are not intimidated by the "b" girl...and so on. if guys are hesitating about asking you to the picture show on saturday night, help 'em out. throw 'em a bone, princess. you see the math major with the pocket protecter stuttering and stammering around, jump in there and say with a sweet tone, "hey, you know what...i want to see "the hurt locker" soooo bad and i've got a free night tomorrow...let's go to that...what do you say?" just do it. that's how people who know what they want in this life do things, get things done, meet and connect with folks. if he replies, "well, i have to calibrate my bunson burner that night" you move on. most will jump at the chance...and even buy you a tub of popcorn.

love and dating is one big game of chance. you don't ever know who will be the winner. that's the beauty of it. everybody has a chance. the bodybuilder with the pump'in pecs might be fun for a few dates, but you'll tire of him flexing all date long and drop him off at the local gnc for a protein shake. the geeky 3rd year medical student with the pleasant personality and nice smile might be the one who really cherishes you, and that intensity supercedes his unkept doogie howser hair. lol...you never know. you're getting the looks, you're getting the interest...now, just a little moxy on your part and you'll be posting back here how great life is again. never forget the mccainster's advice tonight: dating is one big game. enjoy playing it. keep it surface and fun for awhile, never too deep until you're really "feel'in it". let life play itself out. give some effort along the way. trust me...this approach works. and by the way..."hurt locker" is pretty good...you should see it...
