Chelation means in greek "to bind to and hold". Chelation is an alternative medical treatment by which a substance is given to a patient in order to bind to and then eliminate a harmful heavy metal. Vrp.com has DMSA (dimerocapturic acid i think) which binds quite efficiently to mercury, and to a lesser degree lead, cadmium (think cigarette smoke) but also zinc. If you order the product just make sure you take some supplemental zinc if you stay on the DMSA for a long time. B vitamin complex wouldnt hurt either. Hope this helps. O and i think it was very smart of you to have those harmful fillings removed-I only had one and I had it replaced with a composite filling. Now i cant tell even what tooth it was.
