So sorry I didn't reply sooner S.

Vitex can be pretty tricky, since the dosage is irregular per manufacturer. it is recommended 3/ 500 mg capsules 3 xs per day to start (I THINK!-double check with H). look up southwest botanicals. thats where I got my last batch from. The problem with vitex is it takes a while to see its effects, so "how much" it helps, I really dont know, but I "think" it does. What it does makes sense....

Most of the side effect complaints on the vitex arent until after long term use.

I use bladderwrack (kelp) for my iodine. Seems to help the tongue swelling. Dont know about the table salt question, but my gut would say no...too much salt, too little iodine, but that's a GUESS.

Spudlydoo is a good source for Iodine information. she sounds like she is doing GREAT.
