Mine did the same thing. Weeks upon weeks of stones, starting jade, to amber, to tan over the course of the weeks. Happened on my third flush as well. I believe the amber/red/orange stones are bilirubin and an indication that I have blocked bile ducts.

So, the good doctor here is not alone in the sudden opening up of the liver!
