There are privately owned support forums mixed in with the other support forums.

This is how you can tell the difference.  The Diet & Nutrition Support Forum isn't privately owned.  There is nothing under the forum heading.

 BSA  RN  ALL R  ~BSA  ~RN  RRR  RR  R        Images   Description   Healthy Diet   Rules
 

 

At the top of privately owned forums you will see where it talks about forum owners. I'll use the The Natural Healing Forum as an example.

Natural Healing & Herbal Solutions with Unyquity

 

Commercial Forum: commercial messages by forum owners are allowed

 BSA  RN  ALL R  ~BSA  ~RN  RRR  RR  R   FAQ        Images   Description   Herbal Apothecary Storefront   Rules

 

See the difference?  All privately owned forums will have the line below the name of the forum.  This used to say Private Forum but the Webmaster changed it to say Commercial Forum.
