Many years ago when I was suffering from IC, CPPS, prostatitis, whatever name was given to it by whichever of the many doctors I went to, I found great reflief from his boiled broccoli broth.  He says Cauliflower is even better for strictly UTI's.  It's cheap and easy to make.   Just drink it while it's warm, it gets pretty awful when cold.
