"Toxins in the soil can be deadly but as usual disease is a two prong fork, deer in the wild located in adjacent areas both feed on crops fertilized with the deadly organophosphates ! In one area wasting disease is rampant, however in the county over deer fed on the same ready round up raised corn or soybean suffer no wasting diseases at all! Can either of you know it all self proclaimed genious's explain this phenomena??"
Given access to the deer in question, and all the available data, I could certainly give you theories to explain this annomoly, but as this is not the case, I don't know the deer you are talking about, neither do I know that they even exist, and being that I don't have any specific data about the soil, chemicals or crops in this situation, I will not guess at an uninformed theory.
As for my experience, I have had extensive gardening experience, and grow the bulk of my own food, without chemicals, in soil that I have had tested for any residual toxins, and for mineral and microbe content.
I have a university degree in human biology, and a degree in chemistry, this by no means makes me a genius, but it does allow me to make informed decisions on what food I choose to grow, where I choose to grow it, and what food I choose to purchase.
How about you 108... care to share your qualifications?
