Psoriasis has nothing to do with expelling toxins through the skin. It is a chemical imbalance between cAMP and cGMP, that is believed to be autoimmune in origin:

For that matter psoriasis is not even completely a skin condition. It can also affect other parts of the body such as the nails and joints (psoriatic arthritis).

Eczema is in large part from an allergic reaction and partially liver toxicity.

But neither are survival mechanisms.

In addition acids are not expelled through the skin. The skin is naturally acidic from the flora present on the skin to begin with. What is excreted though the pores in the skin is sweat, which contains ALKALINE ammonia. Bacteria present on the skin break down these ammonia compounds releasing ammonia gas, contributing to body odor.
