I've found that it should first be determined if the hemorrhoids are caused from excessive internal pressure from constipation. If so, a gentle and sure liver tonic will cause more bile production thereby providing the body with its own laxative, bile. Once the bowels are moving, sometimes this in itself is enough to allow the hemorrhoids to heal. If more is needed to repair the hemorrhoids, you can get an extract of colinsonia (stone) root. Usually, if these two procedures are done, the hemorrhoids can heal in about a week
