I read the same doctors and a great many more alternative health doctors and other figures.  I don't think we are that far apart, as I agree that often times they miss the diagnosis and at times the lab work is shoddy.  Still though, given that blood is being passed what is the alternative?  They usually manage to figure out what causes something like that and they do have the equipment and training. And, even if they do not give an accurate diagnosis, what they rule out might be vitally important as well.  My main concern is that passing blood could be caused by something serious, perhaps even something that requires pretty immediate attention - and it is not a good idea to merely rely on people on the internet to say "it sounds like constipation or hemorrhoids to me" when it might be something considerably more serious.
