The challenge for me when using the acidophilus was keeping my lips dry so "scabs" would stay dry. I do not know if you would need to keep your lips dry with use of any probiotic.

The whole time I just kept thinking about people who said they would not mind being in a coma for a long time so their lips could heal. That motivated me to take the time to keep my lips dry.
