A zapper applies low voltage / low current "electricity" to the body at a high frequency. It is a frequency treatment device, unlike the Beck Blood Purifier which only works if the current is high enough to be almost uncomfortable. The zapper frequency disables or kills certain microbes, in this case the candida fungus. There are many government approved devices which deliver much much more electrical current to the body than the zappers do, so don't worry.
