this pretty much lays it all out. Paul actively forged documents and perpetrated a hoax as to his real age and his life story. Most of what he claimed to have happened to him never did. You can see the documentation here

Also the very strange relationship he had with Patricia is kind of weird. She is not his daughter, but they made up the story that she was for some strange reason

Still, a lot of the advice he gave was very good advice.
