Salt push is the gold standard, it's been known that chloride will displace bromide for a good long time, long before Iodine supplementation.
Having said that, I only salt-loaded when I had bad detox symptoms, I did not do it daily. I DID, however, salt my drinking water, for a good 3-4 mos. So I guess I was doing a slow push all along.
