I've used many alternative methods and remedies myself, all of which have been based on sound science, and I fully support research into alternative medicine, in fact I am involved in a research project on the use of Iodine supplementation at the moment, with some good preliminary results for conditions such as anaemia (aplastic), diabetes (type 2), and hypothyroidism.

I would love to see more government spending on research into alternative medicine, or even private research, based on sound scientific principles.

As for homeopathy, I have never used or investigated this method, so I'm not qualified to give an opinion. I do however like to keep an open mind, to close off your mind to alternatives, closes your mind to learning.

As for theories about the origin of the universe and life, I have no interest in theories that require a belief in a god, as I have seen no evidence that proves that a god exists, so any theory based on the assumption of there being a god, is flawed from the outset.
