I had a bladder infection years ago. I was told to take lots of vitamin C and cranberry extract to acidify my bladder. I have never been the same. It scorched my bladder, and caused interstitial cystitis. I think there may be a place for VERY well buffered vitamin C, but with caution.

I think your diet probably made a big difference to you. I eat low carb in the "Protein Power" style, with lean meats, good fats, all the non-starchy veggies I want, only occasional low Sugar fruits, and some other low-carb treats. This makes a huge difference to the cfs/fm, blood Sugar & candida. It doesn't heal the situation, but I feel radically worse without it.
