1.4 ug/g is a fairly high load of mercury, but at least your body is excreting it. Your body starts "dumping" mercury right after you remove your fillings and it gets less over time.

They say... 6-8 months before trying to get pregnant and maybe retest before trying. Should be below 1 ug/g before trying.

I highly recommend you find an alternative to putting a crown on top of a mercury filling. The two metals will create a galvanizing effect, which means more mercury will be excreted than normal and an electrical field (measurable!) is created between the two different metals, which creates problems (in the long term) with your brain.

Also, because you still have a constant source of mercury in your mouth, your body never fully recovers from mercury poisoning.

In addition, you should never chelate until ALL sources of mercury have been removed from your mouth and all heavy metals from your environment. You can get really sick that way.

Anyway, it's up to you. If you'd like to read more information, read the book "It's All in Your Head" by Hal Huggins, it will explain a lot.
