That's pretty interesting. The same exact thing happened to me. I've flushed once, in late June of 2004. Since then, I've lost about 20 pounds, which I hadn't expected at all. The weight loss has been a little disconcerting, because I have a thin frame to begin with. It should be noted that I also started eating better by adding more fruit, oatmeal and yogurt to my diet, and I also started cutting down on what I ate at meals to avoid feeling bloated. I'm not entirely sure which is more responsible for the weight loss, the flush or the dietary modifications, but I believe the flush is at least partially responsible.
