welllll... I've been wondering about oil of oregano, which everyone who takes it knows, it's a hum-dinger to get down! ;) Maybe it's causing calouses inside from the burning? Or some other damage... How would we know? If it's so dang hard to get down, isn't that a sign NOT to eat it? It burns me anywhere it touches, so it's gonna do that inside too. That's my logic. But, I'm not too informed about the internal workings of the body...
:)
I think one needs to understand the difference between the herximer effect {healing crisis} & when a supplement is *disagreeing* with the body. Both make one feel bad, but herx is a sign of recovery. You really only know the difference by experiencing both. With the herx you kind of feel *better* as you're feeling bad... hard to explain... Like after throwing up, you're feeling better, but still feel bad.
What hopinso said about feelings being released during cleansing I have also found to be true. We are a whole system, each part effects each other part. The candida home page on CZ has some great insight into life affecting health.
