Excellent article Tony,

What you have described are the basic principles of Natural Hygiene.........

#1. An abundance of rest & sleep as dictated by the body.
#2. Fresh clean air.
#3. Wholesome food in its natural state: mostly vegan but not exclusively.
#4. Pure clean water as dictated by thirst.
#5. Exercise as determined by the body without causing fatigue/enervation.
#5. Sunlight-exposure.
#6. Emotional/mental poise with freedom from undue stress.
#7. Internal and external cleanliness.

..........and used in such manner and degree by the needs of the body for attaining and maintaining superior health.

“The underlying basis of Natural Hygiene is that the body is self-cleansing, self-healing and self-maintaining. Natural Hygiene is based on the idea that all the healing power of the universe is within the human body; that nature is always correct and can not be improved upon. We experience problems of health (i.e. excess weight, pain, stress, disease) only when we break the natural laws of life.”
- Harvey Diamond, Fit for Life, 1985.

(Fit for Life), became the all-time best seller in diet and nutrition in history, and made "Natural Hygiene" a recognized term across America and around the world.
