Good eye, Cora. That's a pretty egregious error. It makes you wonder about the accuracy of the rest of the article.

The benefical compounds in turmeric are not water soluable. However, it is very easy to make an alcohol based tincture from the herb. Be careful, turmeric stains almost EVERYTHING.
