RELAX!!! I had to stop breast feeding my daughter at 4 mos due to dwindling supply. Probably due to being hypothyroid 'cause I was officially diagnosed when she was about 4 yo after having symptoms for most of my life. Anyway, she thrived on formula and organic baby food and baby yogurt and is now 12 yo, 5'1" and 102 lbs [EDIT: smart as a whip, she's enrolled in our city's IB (International Baccalaureate) program and is making A's and B's .. the B's are from essentially handing in homework late.] So your baby won't starve if you stop breast feeding.

At 15 months, your little guy is more than ready to move to table food. There's organic baby food now and I even saw some in the freezer at my local grocers. Add to that some supplements so he gets DHA, eggs are a good source.

Don't be alarmed if he only eats a tablespoon of food at a meal or snacks all day. This is perfectly normal for toddlers. Their tummies are really small and only hold a few teaspoons of food at a time. Toddlers by nature are grazers.

You can also start introducing foods you eat at mealtimes.

As for him seeming to loose verbal milestones, its common for babies to backslide in one ability if they're working on another milestone, like maybe walking. It's possible that once you get him cleared of candida, he'll be more verbal. My daughter was that way. I started keeping track of words she spoke right before her 2yr well baby checkup..[EDIT: The average words for babies before [AT, not before] 2 is around 70. She actually spoke around 101 words. Then as soon as she turned 2, she just took off verbally, adding 2-4 new words daily and speaking in sentences. As a toddler, she would enjoy long conversations on the phone with her dad when he was out of town and her grandparents. Turns out I was worried for nothing.]

For you, get your thyroid checked out: http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com,
your vitamin D level checked, 25(OH)D. http://www.vitamindcouncil.org
and start supplementing with iodine, it will help your your mastitis, chelate out heavy metals and help with the candida. http://www.iodine4health.org,

there's also a really good Iodine supplementation forum here on curezone, check it out too.
