Which probiotics are really necessary for making yogurt?
All the starters I found use
Lactobacillus bulgaricus and
Lactobacillus acidophilus
I want to make yogurt but want to avoid those 2 probiotics
at least for now, cuz they both make D-Lactate. I couldn't find any such starters. I'm hoping someone here knows and can enlighten me or point me to a source of that info.
