A body at rest tends to stay at rest.
A body in motion tends to stay in motion.

It requires applied force to shift from one state to another.

As long as people don;t explore the incongruencies of their belief they remain in an unchanged stated and take everything that goes with that state. In the case of christianity...victim consciousness.

Intention.
