IC, its only when a person steps away from the abuser, out of the trap of abuse, that the person can really see what was actually going on. While they are in the trap, they are blinded by the circular logic.

There is so much more to the world, the universe, and everything, than you will find in the trap of this abuse. It takes a shift in conciousness to get out of this trap.

I 'believed' my father was all powerfull, I accepted the code that said he was superior, he created me, he had control over me, he could do what he wanted to me, because he was god, in my world. When I stepped away from this world of belief, I saw my relationship with my father for what it really was, I let go of the beliefs I had built up around him, and I was free from the fear I had.

I grew up.
