It's kind of like those who engage in a particular diet or fast but then alter it.
It was some other variation and not the original.


In the christian mindset I notice people aren't offering up livestock to appease god's blood thirsty nature. The new testament changed that after all with god's changed mind. ;-) Blood sacrifice in our modern day takes on new form by means of a BBQ.

I guess if god can change his mind so can his minions. It goes with the territory of christianity after all. ;-)
