My concept of eternal life is (I usually like to give scriptural references, but I won't tonight for the sake of time since I'm getting ready to go to bed ). Anyway, I believe as the bible says that God has always existed, He has always had eternal life. I believe as the scriptures say, that those who are God's children, believers in Jesus Christ, inherit eternal life, as a gift of His grace.

Would I hold to what I say if there was no eternal life? If that was the case, I would I be facing nothingness in the end. This would bring on hopelessness and fear. Temporary love is eventually nothing if everything ends.

But I know that God is eternal, His love is eternal. I can enjoy His love now, and have no fear or hopelessness, because I know it's forever.
