yes, those who reject God will face eternal death. There is no way around that, because God is eternal life. If people reject God, they reject eternal life. God has allowed a temporary life for those that reject him, but he has done that with much patience and longsuffering the bible says. Does God owe those that reject him eternal life? Of course I know you don't believe in God at all, but this is what we believe as christians. We do not believe God owes people life at all that want nothing to do with Him. We do not believe He owes anyone life at all, but He has offered eternal life through His grace, and so chrisitians praise Him for that grace. It's not fear that keeps us being christians, it's not fear of eternal death or anything else, but it's the love of God that keeps us. When you realize the love of God, you never want to escape that ever. People that leave christianity I'm convinced have never known the love of God. What they knew was religion, rules and regulations, they were in it for fear, and sure, who wouldn't want to leave that. I once knew just religion, with all it's miseries, and I left it. Then I discovered true chrisitanity and was changed by the love of God.
