:) you don't know how many times I edit my posts, to make sure the spelling and English are correct. Because of chatting with them online and having them (lovingly) correct me.

I also grew up with a father that was only able to go through 8th grade, before having to help his parents with their farm work. He was self-taught, using a dictionary to learn to spell. To this day, if a word doesn't look right to him, he will write it down repeatedly, until he gets the correct spelling. I guess it rubbed off on me.

With all the slang words, my daughters' have told me that English is not easy to teach as a 2nd language either...

LOL, which reminds me..I used Newport's "wonky" word not long ago when I was chatting with one of my daughter's, and she laughed and asked if she should teach her Czech students that word :)
