Christianity is built upon one thing - faith.
Faith that the bible came from god, whether or not you can prove a man named jesus told disciples to write it, you cannot prove that jesus was the son of a god or had special powers, unless you believe the stories he allegedly told someone to wrote, much like a fiction writer. All of it requires faith.

Faith, is not some envious trait all things need. Faith is akin to a marketing gimmick, because all it means is belief in the unproven and untestable without logic or reason. Basically, the faith in Allah and Christian's God, as well as all other religions are equally doubtful. The main reasons for belief in a certain religion is which one you were subjected to first or subjected to the most, or which ones your most highly valued friends/family believe in, etc etc. Although this is not always the case.

I see it and hear it in movies, every day chatter, literature... the notion that faith in god is somehow more important than faith in anything else, such as how some people believe they are god, or perhaps a fish and not a person. All three, the belief in god (be it allah or another), belief that one is a god in a humans body, or belief that one is a fish in a humans body (much like the indians believed they were guided by spirits of animals), all require faith, which is the belief in the unproven, untestable, illogical, and unreasonable. Of all of the unproven, untestable, illogical, and unreasonable things to believe in, choosing just one is like a needle in the haystack of a haystack the size of our galaxy. If you can understand this then religion begins to unfold for the madness that it is. There is not one shred of logic. Anyone can look at some words on a paper, and say it came from a god, or hear a voice in their head, and say it came from god, or see a vision, and say it came from a god, or have an undeniable feeling, that they are god or that god gave them a feeling that he is real. These are not proofs, they are interpretations of real events made into faith, much like how the greeks would witness a volcano erupting and claim it was the act of god punishing them for their sins.
