Ugh. So I am 7 months post-removal, and feeling pretty terrible. I was sure around Christmas that I was going through another crash and that things would get better, but they have only gotten worse. And while I have experienced other new symptoms post-removal, nothing has been as scary as the past month.

In early December I started feeling a spaced-out, foggy, dizzy feeling that would come and go, and that I basically attributed to hormone rebalancing post Mirena. However, this feeling only got worse during the holidays, and started to include other symptoms that were suspicious to me -- including breast-tenderness, depression, nausea, and weight gain -- all Mirena symptoms, but not typical of my Mirena symptoms.

I went on a road trip over New Year's Eve, and my dizzyness and nausea got so bad that I wanted to DIE. I felt so disconnected and strange that I couldn't even read a book -- and reading is my favorite thing to do! I was no fun on this trip, but thought the symptoms would pass with time, just like my other Mirena symptoms post-removal.

However, when I got back home I started making connections. I started taking progesterone cream in September to help with appetite and insomnia, and to regulate my period, and until December the cream worked wonders! However, I charted dramatic increase in dizzyness the two weeks prior to my period, also the same two weeks I was applying the cream. Internet searches of my symptoms and progesterone cream bring up a lot of stories of similar experiences. I'm also having my period now, and the foggy, dizzy feeling has subsided a bit -- which would correspond with my cycle's drop in progesterone. I'm terrified for the rise in progesterone in the coming weeks though.

I've also read that the cream stores itself in the fat below your skin and can take just as long as Mirena to get out of your system. GREAT! I'm trying Infrared Sauna, Epsom Salt baths, and hot yoga to leech the remaining progesterone from my system, but am terrified and pissed off that I could have screwed up my body even more than Mirena managed to do! Did I mention that I currently have a UTI, my period has lasted for 2 weeks, and I bleed during sex now? Thanks progesterone!!

USE WITH CAUTION. If anybody else has experience detoxing this cream from your system, please let me know!!
